Measurement Guide
We source a diverse range of items, each with its unique shape, design, and purpose. To ensure accurate sizing for both in-store and online shoppers, we carefully measure every item.
How We Measure:
For In-Store Shoppers: We measure items to give you a general idea of fit and encourage trying on to find the perfect fit.
For Online Shoppers: We provide measurements to help you choose items that are likely to fit your body shape and size.
Tips for Accurate Sizing:
Don't Rely on Size Tags: Size tags can vary significantly between brands and styles.
Measure Your Own Clothing: Measure your favorite, well-fitting items to compare with our measurements.
Ask for More Measurements: If you're unsure about a specific measurement, don't hesitate to ask us for more details. We're happy to assist you.
By following these tips and using our measurements as a guide, you can make informed purchasing decisions, whether you're shopping in-store or online.
How We Measure Jackets
To measure the chest size of a jacket, we first zip it up and lay it flat. Then, we measure the width across the armpits in inches and double that measurement to get the chest size.
Please note that loose-fitting jackets (like bombers) and tight-fitting jackets (like cafe racers) may have slightly different measurements and sizing.
Occasionally, if a jacket has unusually long or short sleeves, we may also provide a measurement from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
Measuring Pants: Waist and Seat
We measure pants in inches at the waist and the seat.
Waist:
How we measure: We button and zip the pants, lay them flat, and measure across the waistband. We then double this measurement.
Why it matters: Fashion sizing can be inconsistent, so it's best to rely on inch measurements. Pants that sit on your hips or your natural waist will have different measurements, even if they're the same size. To get a good idea of your waist measurement, measure yourself at different points, both high and low.
Seat:
How we measure: We button and zip the pants, stretch them flat, and measure across the widest part of the hips/butt. We then double this measurement.
Why it matters: Riding pants should have enough room in the seat for comfortable riding. When comparing measurements, use your most comfortable, not your most stylish, pants as a reference.
Measuring Chaps
We measure chaps in inches at the upper thigh.
To measure, we fasten the chaps, lay them flat, and measure across the widest part of the upper thigh. We then double this measurement.
Why it matters:
Adjustability: Chaps are typically adjustable at the waist by about 10 inches and can be cut to length, making them fairly unisex.
Fit: However, the fit at the upper thigh is crucial. No other measurement or size designation would accurately reflect the fit.
Tip: Measure your thigh with your pockets full to account for everyday carry items.
Measuring Vests
To measure the chest size of a vest, we first button it up and lay it flat. Then, we measure the width across the armpits in inches and double that measurement to get the chest size.
Measuring Boots
We've simplified our boot sizing to a universal European system. This is because traditional North American sizing, which varies for men and women, can be confusing. We've noticed customers often misread or overlook boots that would actually fit them.
For example, a Women's 10.5 might be equivalent to a Men's 9.25, or a Men's 7 could be a Women's 8.5. To avoid this confusion, we've adopted a single, gender-neutral European size for all our boots.
While our website will display all sizes, our in-store signage will provide handy conversion charts. Simply find your corresponding European size and use that to search for boots.
How to Read Our Size Tags In Store

Listed Size: This is the size the manufacturer assigned to the garment (e.g., SM, LRG).
Gender: Indicates the intended gender (W for women, M for men).
